Hollywood Daytona

As the name suggests – this boy will be fast!!  “Hollywood Daytona” is a beautiful gold palomino colt, by “Phantom of the Roc” out of “Hollywood Centrefold”.  He is all style and class, with all the attributes we have found “Phantom of the Roc” passes on – length of rein, sloping shoulder, huge hip, long underline, depth through his chest, good strong bone and to top it off, a pretty head.  “Hollywood Daytona” is built to do anything that requires athleticism, strength and speed.  However he has the looks, conformation and charisma to excell in the Show Ring too!

His bloodlines  would say Barrel Race him. This is because his sire “Phantom of the Roc” [see stallion page] was a champion barrel racer, winning the “Holy Grail” of Barrel Racing – Mt Isa. He won the All Round Cowgirl there also with a high placing in the Ladies Breakaway Roping, and went on to win numerous barrel races and ropings on the way to the Australian Champion All Round Cowgirl title in 2004, and many wins afterwards.  However, “Phantom of the Roc” was and Open Camphorse long before he hit the rodeo trail, and he has sired a number of winners in this field. He has several wins at Halter, proving he was correct enough to show, atheletic enough to perform.

“Hollywood Centrefold” is a daughter of “Hollywood Showdown”[see Stallion Pg] and a grandaughter of “Magnum Force”, who sired several winners in the show ring. “Centrefold’s” dam “Crystal Magnum”, is all running blood, being a grandaughter of “The Ambassador” and “Heisa Rocket”. “Centrefold’s” 3/4 sister is performing well in the show ring, with a number of wins at Halter, and Western Performance and full brother, “Showdown’s Topgun” has perfromed well at Barrel Racing and Roping. With “Centrefold” being the first filly, she was retained by the stud for breeding. She was broken in and going well before begining her breeding duties.

“Hollywood Daytona” has all the physical attributes and the mind,  to perform well in Reining, Cutting, Campdrafting, Barrel Racing, Roping and Show, making him a definate Futurity/Challenge prospect.  He is pretty and correct enough to make an excellent stud prospect, and he has the depth of breeding to say he can do it all!
