Yearlings and 2 Year Olds

The O.H. Corral has three yearlings from the 09 crop and 2 foals from the 2010 crop. These kids haven’t got their own page yet, but we still want you to know about them.  We can’t list all the prices, so please call if you are interested and would like to know a price.

The are now only two 2 Year Olds :- “Hollywood Vogue” and “Hollywood California”

Two Foals:- “Hollywood’s Astro Boy”, “Hollywood Silver Dollar”

“Hollywood Vouge”

“HOLLYWOOD VOUGE” – is striking chestnut filly by “King Hollywood” out of “Hollywood Botique” (see Stallion and Broodmare pages) making her a double cross “Hollywood”. She is an athletic and fast with a quiet, willing and trainable mind and should do almost anything that you might want to do -rein, rope, barrel race, challenge, draft. Her half brother (by “Mabo”), is broken and going extremely well, and is very quiet and athletic, showing heaps of cow! His owners are very pleased with him.

“Guns and Roses”

“GUNS and ROSES” is by “King Hollywood” and out of “Tyrone Morn Rose” see (Stallion and Broodmare Page). “Gunner” is the youngest of three full brothers and is showing the same lovely quiet nature that “King” is putting on his foals. He is a willing learner and is of an athletic build. His 3/4 brother, “Hollywood Morn Jet” is already winning as a Heeling Horse, placing in numerous ATRA events and is going very well on barrels. It goes without saying that he will make an awesome barrel racing futurity prospect, and like all his siblings, he is going to excell at anything that requires speed and agility.  SORRY I’M SOLD  His new owners have broke him in and are very pleased with his laid back attitude and trainability he is showing.

“Hollywood California”

“HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA” – is by “Hollywood Hoges”, and is the second foal of “Hollywood Morn Rose” (see Broodmare page). He is a 3/4 brother to “Hollywood Highway” and full brother to “Hollywood Cartel” (see For Sale page). He is showing the same quiet nature of “Cartel” and is good to handle and loves being around people. His Sire “Hoges” has sired many winners in Reining, Drafting and Rodeo. Being out of a “Hollywood/ Morn Deck” mare, he is a double cross “Hollywood” and will make a definate Barrel/ Roping prospect, at this stage he is a finer build so will also be excellent to rein, challenge or draft.

“Hollywood Moon Express”

“HOLLYWOOD MOON EXPRESS” is another by “King Hollywood” but is our first foal out of our “Moonshadow” mare, “Hollywood Moon Glow” ( See Stallion and Broodmare pages). She is a very striking little filly and has very correct conformation in a long sloping shoulder and hip. She has a very strong hind quarter, like her dam. She is showing that quiet, calm disposition that “King” passes on, however all her ‘genes’ are quiet. This filly will be pretty enough to show, but should excell in any field, and of course, she is a double cross “Hollywood” so will be an asset to any stud wanting to breed true performance horses.  SORRY I’M SOLD

“HOLLYWOOD SILVER DOLLAR” is by “AD Collect the Check, out of “Kempsters Silky Oak” (see broodmare page).  “AD Collect the Check” is an Open Campdraft winner and has sired cutters and drafters as well as his sire producing a number of Barrel Racing horses as well.  This colt is a pretty chestnut with chrome.  He is very correctly put together with a huge hind quarter. and he is quiet in nature.  Being out of a double cross “Hollywood” mare, he will no doubt draft or cut, but will excell and any field that requires agility and speed. (Photo coming)

“HOLLYWOOD ASTRO BOY” is the last colt foal out of our wonderful producing mare and direct daughter of “Hollywood Return” – “Astras Return”.  He is by “King Hollywood”.  We have retained his full sister, “Hollywood Mae West” to compete on and breed from further down the track.  “Mae West” was the last filly for “Astras Return” and “Astro Boy” was her last foal at the age of 26.  Both he and “Mae West” have lovely quiet natures and are intelligent.  He is probably close to one of the last colts out of a direct daughter of “Hollywood Return”.  If you follow campdrafting, you will know that 3 of the best Camphorses in this country are out of a direct daughter of “Hollywood Return” – “Oaks Stardust”, “Oaks Serene”(producer of 2011 Warwick Gold Cup) and “Mabo”.  “Astra’s” colt, “Hollywood Holiday” also has produced several campdraft winners.  “See Broodmare Page for further details on “Astras Return”.  With several winning camphorses and Roping/Barrel Horses from “Astra” it is safe to say that “Astro Boy” will Draft, Rope, Rein Challenge or Barrel Race. Southern on the Rocs

“Southern on the Rocs” is yet another beautiful filly by “Phantom of the Roc”(see Stallion page) and is the first foal for “Southern Mansion”, who is by “Hollywood Showdown” (see Stallion page).

This filly is all class, she has presense, style and of course great conformation.  She has the beautiful sloping shoulder and swan neck, pretty head and she has “Junk in her Trunk”!!!!  A big, long hip that is stout!  I keep saying this but “Phantom” really stamps his foals, when you see them all together you can tell that they are his.

“Phantom of the Roc” [see Stallion pg] who was a champion barrel racer, winning the “Holy Grail” of Barrel Racing – Mt Isa. He won the All Round Cowgirl there also with a high placing in the Ladies Breakaway Roping, and went on to win numerous barrel races and Ropings on the way to the Australian Champion All Round Cowgirl title in 2004.  He won many Steer Undecorating and has won numerous Open Campdrafts at a young age.

“Southern Mansion” is by “Hollywood Showdown” and is out of the thoroughbred mare “Mantuan Queen” who came off the well known CQ Station, Mantuan Downs.  “Southern Mansion” or “Queenie” as she is affectionately known, is a big, strong mare who was broken in and given work.  She was ridden by a young girl for 6 weeks work before going back to the owners.  She done some stock work before being bred.

“Southern on the Rocs” is well built and strong.  She should excel in almost any field, however she should grow into a big, strong fast mare, so would be suited to Roping and Barrel Racing, Reining or Drafting and Challenges.  Should have great movement  for a show ring career also.

I’ve got “MORE ass and MORE class!!!

Red Dog Saloon

“Red Dog Saloon” is another outstanding colt by “Phantom of the Roc”.  Like all his siblings he has a huge hip, sloping shoulders, correct legs, good length of rein and a pretty head.  While he may not have chrome, he has style and eye appeal, and his straight red colour gave us the idea for his name.

Out of the 2011 foal crop of “Phantom of the Roc”, this guy would be arguably the most suited to cutting.  We say this only because “Red Dog’s” dam, “Kempsters Silky Oak” is a double cross “Hollywood” being out of a “Hollywood Return” Daughter. She is by “Sherman Oak”, who is by “Doc Freckles Oak” and is out of another “H R” daughter.  “Sherman Oak” went to the NCHA Cutting Futurity, missing the final by 1 point, however he went on to be a successful campdrafter.  He has sired several winners in Reining and drafting.  “Red Dog” has been broken in and is going nicely.  He has been given light work and has had a spell and will be brought back into work shortly. He is kind going, and has really shown potential.

With the ‘Versatility’of her sire and dam’s bloodlines, he will no doubt excel at Roping, Barrel Racing, or Challenge also! Therefore he is an excellent Futurity and Challenge Prospect.

“Phantom” was a winning camphorse at a very young age and went on to win many major drafts, barrel Races, including Mt Isa and Ropings (see Stallion page).  “Kempsters Silky Oak” has had two fillies and one colt, with the first two fillies broken in and going well, they are started on cattle and showing great promise.  The colt is ready to break in and is by “AD Collect the Check” and has been purchased by Jack Danials because he is so impressed with his full sister.  Like his half sisters, “Red Dog Sallon” will not disappoint.

Got some “Big Bootie” happnin back there!
Maybe dae shoulda called me “Big Butt Saloon” !!
“I got a dirty face from too much lolly – good job its a pretty face!

Kings Compadre

“Kings Compadre” is the second gelding that we have by “King Hollywood” out of “Tyrone Morn Rose”. He is a big strong Chestnut gelding with a lot of chrome. He has a big, long hip, a nice sloping shoulder and a good length of rein. He is a quiet, well manner boy and enjoys being petted and handled. His full brother, “Royale Return” has made his mark in the competition arena, winning a Mitsubishi Lancer and $11 000 in prize money at The Big Show Roping in Tamworth, in 2015 Heeling .  Luke and “Roy” have both performed really well over the last 2 years, making it to the ABCRA Rodeo Finals Heeling and winning and placing at most of the Major APRA Rodeos.  Both  “Roy” and “Compadre” are displaying their sire, “King’s”, great nature.

The depth of breeding in this colt makes him an outstanding prospect for – anything! The “Hollywoods” excel in all fields, the “Hill King Pistols” do too, the “Morn Decks” have shown and barrel raced outstandingly. The “Jet Booms”, the “Mr Freckles Boy’s”, the list just goes on. This colt is bred to Rein, Campdraft, Barrel Race, Rope, Cut – anything and has the chrome to ‘Wow’ in the Show Ring.

“Compadre” is broken in and going nicely.  He is 15.1 and still has some filling out to do yet so will be a big boy.  He is a free moving horse that is athletic and will excell at any field that requires speed, cow and atletic ability.  However he can collect up nicely and move through his paces so would be at home in the show ring.  He has had light mustering and pattern work, and is started on his barrel training.  He is extremely cowy and is now tracking his cattle really well, both in the arena and out of the box. We have started swinging the rope off him and getting him used to the dummy, towing a tyre etc.  His full brother, “Royale Return”, has made his mark in the Roping arena and has a big stop and cool nature, while his younger, full brother “Guns and Roses” has been broken in and is currently mustering and he is a exceptionally quiet horse that loves to be around people.  “Guns” incidentally had his Rodeo debut in the Junior Barrel Race with his 7yr old rider!!  Of course “Compadre’s”  other siblings – “Hollywood Morn Jet”, “Hollywood Agent”, and “Jet Return” are all competing very successfully in the Rodeo arena, Barrel racing and roping.  You could say “Its a family thing!”  Its safe to say “Compadre” will follow on in their footsteps.

I’m Dun Driftin

Our first foal crop of “Dun It Downunder” has finally arrived and we are not disappointed!”  He most certainly puts his stamp on them!

This is the second of two colts born for the 2012 season.  He is a beautiful boy with so much of his sires attributes.  A sloping shoulder, good length of rein and a big, strong hip. He has a lovely quiet temperament and loves being around people.  His colour?  Well the jury is out on that one – not sure if he will be a bay, dun or buckskin!  Will have to wait and see!!!

There is so much to say about “Dun It Downunder” – he is the sire of reiners, both Open and Non Pro.  Which is a testament to him passing on the great temperament of “Hollywood Dun It” – the first Million Dollar  earner in the World of Reining, and is still the Number 2 All Time Sire of Reiners in the World, many years after his passing.  However we think that “Dun It Downunder” will sire Roping, Barrel Racing, Campdrafting and Challenge horses, because that is exactly what “Hollywood Dun It” has done in the USA. Their dominance in the Reining arena, has overshadowed the wonderful performance is so many other disciplines. [See “Dun It Downunder” Stallion pg. for full history of “Dun It” and this magnificent line of horses].

Lets talk about “Im Dun Driftin”s dam – “Driftin’ in Hollywood” [See Broodmare Pg] is arguably one of our best performed mares, having won and placed in numerous disciplines, including 1st and 2nd in the 5 Head Ladies Breakaway Roping at the Annual Richmond Timed Event Jackpot, where the best ropers en-route to Mt Isa stop over to play. Placed 3rd in Maiden at her first Campdraft, numerous wins in Western Pleasure and Western Riding, CRCA Finals Qualifier in Heeling and Ladies Breakaway. ABHA Capricorn Circuit Hi Point Barrel Racing Champion 2005.  This mare has a great mind to adapt to whatever was asked of her, most of which would be done in one weekend or over 2 or 3 weekends.

“Im Dun Driftin” is her second foal.  “Rockin In Hollywood” [ Horses For Sale Pg] her first filly is a lovely filly with a great temperament and is showing a lot of promise. With the breeding of his Sire and Dam, he is bound for greatness.  Reining?  I think that is a given!  Rodeo?  I think that’s a given!  However, he is a great prospect for Drafting, Showing, Cowhorse or Cutting.  He has a awesome natural stop on him, as we get to see when he plays!  He has huge, strong hind end and really theses photos don’t do him justice! A definite Futurity Prospect!

Hollywood Roulette Roc

“Hollywood Roulette Roc” is a pretty chocolate filly by “Phantom of the Roc” (see Stallion page) and is out of “Hollywood Casino Royale”.

“Roulette” has the same redeeming features that “Phantom” has stamped on all his foals – nice sloping shoulder, big long hip, good length of rein and a pretty head.  This filly’s unusual colour makes her a striking type that will be at home in the show ring or the performance arena.

When her sire and her grandsires on the dam’s side are so versatile that they have won in many different disciplines, it is safe to assume that she will too, and I think it is safe to pick “Roulette Roc” no matter what it is you want to do with her.  Rein, Rope, Barrel Race, Cut or Draft, this filly will suit any discipline.

Her sire is the great “Phantom of the Roc” (see Stallion page) and his dam is “Hollywood Casino Royale”. She is by “Hollywood Showdown” (see Stallion page)  “Hollywood Casino Royale”, was being trained and campaigned at Barrel Racing and Roping until injury has sidelined her for a period of 2 years.  We thought that we would not waste this talented mare, let her produce a foal before putting her back into work.  If she holds up, she will continue on with her competition, if not she will remain in the broodmare band. “Casino” possess a big stop and quick turn around, and I am sure she will pass this ability on to her foals.

“Phantom of the Roc” was a champion barrel racer, winning the “Holy Grail” of Barrel Racing – Mt Isa. He won the All Round Cowgirl there also with a high placing in the Ladies Breakaway Roping, and went on to win numerous barrel races on the way to the Australian Champion All Round Cowgirl title in 2004.

“Hollywood Roulette Roc” has a big future ahead of her.

Dun Time Downunder

“Dun Time Downunder” is by the great “Dun It Downunder” who needs no introduction!  “Dun Time” is from the last foal crop by “Dun It” before we lost him.  “Dun Time” is a nice, well grown yearling with a good length of rein and a strong hind end [something that “Dun It ” passes on in abundance!]

“Dun Its” list of achievements include siring winners/Champions in both Open and Non Pro Reining Futurities, Rookie, Novice Non Pro and the list goes on.  They have excelled in every level of Reining, now some of his Grand Get are making there mark also.  The superb filly, “Dunrufinit” and the tenacious young stallion, “Rufit Downunder”, and of course“Bamba Lamb” whose list of achievements in 2014 are too long to mention. Making him a true sire of Reining Horses – Period! See Stallion Page

“Hollywood Morn Rose” is the first filly of our great “Morn DecK”/”Jet Boom” – “Tyrone Morns Rose”. She was retained at stud, and has produced 5 foals.  Her first foal, “Hollywood Cartel”,who is an exceptionally flashy palomino gelding, is at the moment doing a range of disciplines, including Team Penning, Barrel Racing, and Showing.  His owners are impressed with his calm and sensible disposition, and ability to take everything in his stride.  “Hollywood Sheriff” has an exceptional quiet nature and was kept as a stallion long enough to produce several horses for the station and he has been put to work and is a good, athletic stock horse, who will eventually campdraft.  “Roc’s Return” has been broken in and is going very nicely for his owners, he is a big boy and will eventually go into the roping pen.  He also possesses that lovely quiet nature, but is athletic and trainable and keen to work.

Of course “Hollywood Morn Rose’s”  siblings have all excelled in the Roping and Barrel Racing arena – “Hollywood Morn Jet”, “Hollywood Agent”, “Jet Return”, “Royal Return” with younger ones yet to make their mark.

It is fairly safe to say that “Dun Time Downunder” will do whatever you want to do with him.  Reining – well that’s a ‘given’ ! I think you could say Roping and Barrel Racing – that’s a ‘given’ too.  If its a ‘given’ he can Rope and Rein then he will definitely be a Campdrafting and Challenge prospect as well. He is a definite Futurity prospect.

Driftin Downunder

“Driftin Downunder” is a beautiful dark Chestnut filly and as the name suggests, is by the amazing “Dun It Downunder”. Who needs no introductions! His list of achievements include siring winners/Champions in both Open and Non Pro Reining Futurities, Rookie, Novice Non Pro and the list goes on. They have excelled in every level of Reining, now some of his Grand Get are making there mark also. The superb filly, “Dunrufinit” and the tenacious young stallion, “Rufit Downunder”, whose list of achievements in 2014 are too long to mention. Making him a true sire of Reining Horses – Period!

“Dun It’s” history, breeding and character is too lengthy to mention here, please go to the Stallion Page for his Story.

This lovely filly is out of “Sonic Drift”, [See Broodmare pg for full history/pedigree] who has produced 2 outstanding fillies already. Her second one by “Phantom of the Roc” is a gorgeous buckskin filly that has broken in very well, is athletic and has a good mind. She is with cutting trainer at present. “Sonic Drift” is a full sister to our good competition mare, “Driftin In Hollywood”, while her sister was on the Competition trail, she was selected to breed from.

This filly will no doubt, make a exceptional Reiner, “Dun It” will see to that, however, with her breeding on her bottom side, she will excel in almost any “Cow” event – Roping, Cutting, Drafting or Challenge. As “Hollywood Dunit” has 20 horses ranked Top 10/World Champion Heading, Heeling, Reined Cowhorse and Cutting, she might just get some of that versatility from the top side as well. She has speed to burn and travels smoothly across the ground, with a good mind and athletic ability, she will Barrel Race too.

Breeding, Looks, Conformation, Style, Athleticism and a good mind – This filly is the whole package!
