Hollywood Hitman was purchased for my birthday and what a present he was.
The lady that I took with me said “ buy him quick before someone else does” and that was seven years ago.
Hitman ( Buddy ) has the most beautiful manners and is perfect around children.
I ride Western Pleasure with him even though I’m sure he would love to be chasing cows as he does here in the paddock along with treating the other horse’s like cows and working them as well.
I’ve had 2 special complements over the years, one was from a trainer at a mechanical cow clinic we did. It was the following week we went to a camp draft and as we rode past him and several other riders sitting on the rail I heared him say “ he works every bit as good as he looks”,
The other was when I went to work and my boss said one of her friends who rides English and normally can’t stand to watch Western was walking past a pleasure class and just had to stop and watch this chestnut going around, when we were placed she realised it was Bud and I ( we placed first ).
Comments like that make me very proud to own a Hollywood horse.
He’s now thirteen and still acting like a 6yr old, so I hope his like his dad (Hollywood Showdown) and still going strong for many years to come.
I’m a true believer of the saying “ Hollywoods can do anything and do it well”
Thanks Liz and Pat for breeding such a beautiful animal.
